Poggio Trevvalle, Montecucco Sangiovese 2019, Tuscany, Italy

Tasting Note: An elegant, well-made sangiovese that shows the softer and complex side of Montecucco.

Medium-intensity ruby in color with some garnet around the edges, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red-rose blossom, red cherry and orange peel with hints of vanilla baking spice and leather.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied sangiovese has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and medium tannin.

The wine is organic, biodynamic, foot crushed and is vinified in concrete.
