Tasting Note: An easy-going cabernet sauvignon to open up midweek with hamburger steak or any red-meat dish.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black currant, blackberry, black plum, kirsch and vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied cabernet sauvignon has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-grippy medium tannin.

The wine is straightforward and completes with a medium finish.

Bottle Note: As the largest wine region in Sonoma County, Alexander Valley is known for its cleansing morning fog and dry afternoon heat. This climate provides the perfect balance for our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, which rings notes of blackberries, dark fruits and cedar.
