Tasting Note: A solid pinot noir with a mostly straightforward fruit profile.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of strawberry, red cherry, dried raspberry and blueberry with hints of baking spice and blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot noir has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and medium-plus tannin.

The wine is varietally correct.

The marine sedimentary soils contribute to the wine’s rich, soft balanced mouthfeel, while the mix of Pommard and Dijon clones and soft-touch winemaking captures the heart of the Ribbon Ridge AVA.
