This red blend combines ripe orchard fruit with pleasing yeasty elements.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red plum, black raspberry, brioche, red cherry, dried-crushed violet petal and dried cranberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied red blend has medium-plus-intensity, red-and-black fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-grippy, medium tannin.

There is complexity on the midpalate that lingers through to the medium-plus finish.

Bottle Note: 10 barrels produced. We live in the bear state of California but we are inspired by the wines of France. So we employ an old world approach to winegrowing that favors restraint over ripeness, finesse over flamboyance. Our aim is to craft wines that show a kinship with France’s benchmark regions. Wines that are Sosie. Blend: 51% Grenache, 24% Mourvedre, 15% Syrah. Vineyard: Rossi Ranch, California, Certified Organically Farmed. Harvest: 3 October 2019, 24.5 Brix. Fermentation: Handpicked grapes, yeast nutrients, tartaric acid, SO2. Nothing else added. Vegan friendly. Aging: 15 Months, 100% Neutral Oak.
