St. Supery Estate Vineyard & Winery, Rose 2014, Napa Valley, California
Tasting Note: This rose is so deep red in color you might mistake it for gamay/Beaujolais.
And like a Beaujolais it impresses with strawberry fruit. You also get cranberry, blueberry, blackberry and red cherry.
This wine has the residual sweetness you want of a rose but with the dryness you crave. Definitely a red wine drinker’s rose – you know who you are.
Bottle Note: This rose is made from grapes grown from our family owned, sustainably farmed estate vineyards. This is a crisp, dry wine with aromas of strawberry leaping from the glass, complimented by an elegant hint of rose petal. This wine bursts with vibrant berry flavors. The Skalli Family, 4th generation vintners. Blend: 50% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Malbec, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
