Tasting Note: An aged mourvedre that is approachable, accessible and filled with peak-summer fruit.

Deep-intensity ruby in color with some garnet around the edges, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red currant, raspberry, blackberry puree, red cherry, black plum and rosehip.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied mourvedre has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin ultimately completing with a medium-plus finish.

The wine is creamy in texture with complex fruit notes running throughout the entire length of the taste.

Whereas some mourvedre is inky and concentrated, this mourvedre is floral and balanced.

Taste the lighter side of mourvedre done well.

Bottle Note: Sunce is a family winery located in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County-specializing in small artisan lots of vineyard designated varietal wine and classic blends.
