Tasting Note: Delightful aromatics and red fruit unite in this unique, sangiovese-led red blend.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-intensity nose of black plum, red currant, kirsch, red cherry, strawberry preserves and blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied red blend has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and well-integrated, medium-plus tannin.

The wine has a slightly grippy texture that gives way to ripe fruit.

One never goes wrong with Sunce Trois Amis, and this bottle is no exception.

Bottle Note: Sunce is a family winery located in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County specializing in small artisan lots of vineyard designated varietal wine and classic blends. Enjoy our unique Tuscan-style blend of 37% sangiovese, 33% merlot and 30% cabernet sauvignon. The Merlot adds an element of velvety plum fruits with hints of clove and cinnamon, the cabernet sauvignon adds a dimension of tannin and structure, while the sangiovese chimes in with flavors of black cherries with notes of white pepper offering a long, silky finish. This wine is an excellent accompaniment to hearty pasta dishes in a tomato-based sauce with meat or sausage, and especially pairs nicely with Osso Bucco. Frane Franicevic, Winemaker. Only 9 barrels made.
