Tasting Note: Silky, supple and red-bouquet filled, this 2006 pinot noir showcases the ageability of California pinot noir.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry, strawberry, red plum, rosehip and hibiscus.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied pinot noir has, medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported my medium-acidity and well-integrated, ripe, medium-plus tannin.

Floral notes dance along the midpalate accentuating complexity and depth of flavor.

Will make you want to age more quality pinot noir in your cellar.

Bottle Note: Sunce is family winery located in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County. We specialize in small artisan lots of varietal wine and classic blends. “To find eternity in a grain of sand or in a drop of wine.” This release marks Janae & Frane Franicevic’s third unveiling of their estate planted and grown pinot noir – appropriately named after their eldest daughter Zora. Cassis and plum fruit essence abound while fennel and allspice add depth and tradition. The finish is gentle yet long, with toasted silk and subtle earth notes. Only 26 barrels made.
