Tasting Note: A sangiovese-led red blend that weaves a beautiful tapestry of red and black fruit aromatics that have benefited from age in the bottle.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry, red currant, bramble, black plum, blackberry and leather with hints of rosehip.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied red blend has medium-plus-intensity, red-and-black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and silky, medium tannin.

Complex fruit flavors run throughout the length of the taste through to the long finish.

Bottle Note: Sunce is family winery located in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County – specializing in small artisan lots of vineyard designated varietal wine and classic blends. Enjoy our unique Tuscan-style blend of 37% Sangiovese, 33% Merlot, and 30% Petit Verdot. The merlot adds an element of velvety plum fruit with hints of clove and cinnamon, the petit verdot adds a dimension of tannin and structure, while the sangiovese chimes in with flavors of black cherries with notes of white pepper offering a long, silky finish. This wine is an excellent accompaniment to hearty pasta dishes in a tomato-based sauce with meat or sausage, and especially pairs nicely with Osso Bucco. Frane Franicevic, Winemaker.
