Tasting Note: A good midweek cabernet sauvignon.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black currant, blackberry, black cherry, cassis and hibiscus.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied cabernet sauvignon has medium-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by ripe, medium tannin and completing with a cassis-filled, medium finish.

The wine is straightforward with a somewhat steely texture.

Pair with chicken, grilled meats and more.
