Viento, Cuvée Tradition Brut Rosé, Columbia Gorge, Oregon

Tasting Note: A sparkling rosé from Columbia Gorge that has attractive notes of development.

Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has a yeasty nose of red cherry, strawberry, brioche and toast.

On the palate the dry, sparkling rosé has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium-plus finish.

Bottle Note: Four decades of Méthod Champenoise experience shows in this fine blend using Columbia Gorge grown grapes, made entirely in-house by Rich Cushman. This is a multi-vintage composition of pinot noir cuvée (64%), pinot gris (21%), and Chardonnay (9%) with a final addition at tirage of red pinot noir (6%) to highlight color and texture. Elegance in bouquet and delicate flavors define this gorgeous sparkler. Rich Cushman.
