Tasting Note: A South African cabernet franc with one leg in the Loire.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of black plum, red currant, forest floor, violet and hints of raspberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied cabernet franc has ripe, supple, medium tannin, a velvety mouthfeel, a medium finish and medium acidity.

There are some herbaceous moments as well.

Bottle Note: Established vines. Cool elevated South West facing slope. Decomposed granite set in deep clay soils. Vines tended by hand. Curated French oak barrel selection. 32 barrels.
