Tasting Note: A Cape blend with depth, concentration and lots of sensual body.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of raspberry, black plum and red currant.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied Cape blend shows plush, ripe medium-plus tannin with some floral, white blossom notes along with a velvety mouthfeel.

Bottle Note: Three Cape Ladies, now in its 17th vintage, is named in honor of three generations of women at Warwick. Three Cape Ladies blends rich pinotage, spicy syrah and classic cabernet sauvignon to form the quintessential “Cape Blend” – a truly South African experience. Careful management of our old vineyards produces very low yields & small berries which are harvested & sorted by hand. Fermentation takes place in open-top tanks which are punched down by hand and matured in French oak for 18 months. Black currant and liquorice aromas fuse with spicy pepper flavors which compliment the full-bodied, ripe tannins.
