Weingut Geil, Gewürztraminer Kabinett 2014, Mettenheimer Michelberg, Rheinhessen, Germany
Tasting Note: Pear, granny smith apple and lychee aromas fill your nose with this golden-colored gewürztraminer.
This tart dry white is high in acidity but well-balanced such that sweetness in the grapes shines through leaving a long finish.
The wine shows medium-plus complexity and feels a bit round in your mouth towards the end of the taste.
Bottle Note: This gewürztraminer grape variety ripens especially well in the Rheinhessen area. Aromatic spicy flavour perfumed bouquet. Serve chilled between 60° – 65° F. This wine will match well with spicy food and Asian, sour sweet dishes.
