BlanCat Estate, Parcel Selection Malbec 2017, Mendoza, Argentina

Tasting Note: A silky malbec with the ripe fruit you expect from malbec but with a complex, reserved character that puts its elegance on display.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum, crushed blackberry, black currant, black cherry and raspberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied wine has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin.

There is complexity along the midpalate the completes with a medium-plus finish.

A malbec that tastes like it was made by a winemaker from the old world.

Bottle Note: This cuvee is born in the vineyard from a very special selection that has taken generations to understand. This wine expresses the fruit, elegance and concentration of our best parcels. Andrés Blanchard, Vinter/Proprietor. Javier Catena Pedro, Vinter/Proprietor.
