Concha Y Toro, Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, Maipo Valley, Chile
Tasting Note: A hearty cabernet sauvignon from Chile bursting with ripe, juicy fruit.
Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blueberry, blackberry, red currant, black cherry, fig and rhubarb.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied cabernet sauvignon has medium-plus-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose along with notes of green-pepper supported by medium-acidity and ripe, medium-plus tannin.
The wine is straightforward and would pair well with grilled meats and rich sauces.
Bottle Note: The grapes are sourced from our century-old vineyards in Pirque and Puente Alto located at the foot of the Andes Mountains on ancient alluvial terraces associated with the Maipo River. The gravelly soil allows our vines optimal drainage and aeration. Our intense, well-structured cabernet sauvignon revels aromas of black fruits, a smooth and silky texture, and a long, concentrated finish. Marcelo Papa.
