Denbies Wine Estate, English Sparkling Brut 2014, England
Tasting Note: An English sparkling brut from market-powerhouse Sainsbury’s that doesn’t disappoint, especially for the price point.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of biscuit, quince and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied brut delivers flavors suggested on the nose with a slightly, lemon-infused finish.

This classy English fizz is delicious with fresh shellfish, cured meats or lightly cooked seafood. Winemaker, John Worontschak. Grapes: Pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot meunier.
