Sainsbury Champagne Brut Rosé – A Solid, Entry-Level Rosé

Sainsbury, Champagne Brut Rosé, Champagne, France, Wine Casual

Sainsbury, Champagne Brut Rosé, Champagne, France

Tasting Note: A solid rosé Champagne that fills the rosé Champagne niche at the entry level knowing there is further development to be enjoyed downstream.

Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has a nose of strawberry, red plum, brioche and red cherry.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied rosé Champagne is creamy in texture with a slightly, citrus-infused finish.

Bottle Note: A delightfully elegant and soft-textured Champagne with red fruit aromas and very fine bubbles. It balances vibrant crushed summer berry notes with rich strawberry jam, complimented by a long, creamy finish. The Louis Kremer Champagne House was founded in the mid nineteenth century. Only the highest quality grapes are sourced for this Champagne and the wine is aged in the cool cellars of the winery in Reims to add finesse and impart the characteristic softness and complexity. This fruity style of Champagne is great with rich starters like paté or smoked salmon. Winemaker, Fabien Henry.
