Fattoria Selvapiana, Chianti Rufina DOCG 2014, Tuscany, Italy
Tasting Note: Chianti is a rear-palate wine, and this aged bottle is no exception.
Medium-intensity garnet in color, this wine has a nose of strawberry, red plum and red cherry.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied sangiovese is medium in acidity, flavor intensity, flavor concentration and ripe, soft tannin.
The wine completes with a medium-plus finish and is very good in quality because of its ripe, well-integrated tannin which affords structure.
