Gonzalez Byass, Tio Pepe, Una Palma Fino Sherry, Andalucia, Spain
Tasting Note: A 6-year-old en rama (bottled directly from the barrel with no filtration) fino sherry with a round mouthfeel that has benefited from aging giving it a grown-up, mellowed-out flavor profile.
Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has a nose of biscuit, lemon-citrus peel, toasted almond and fresh almond.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied sherry has a round texture with flavors suggested on the nose.
Compared to the Tio Pepe Fino En Rama 2018, this wine is less acidic and more of a destination than an aperitif.
