Pascal Mazet, Tradition Premier Cru Brut, Champagne, France
Tasting Note: A premier cru Champagne that reveals delicious yeasty notes paired in perfect proportion with green fruit.
Pale-intensity gold in color, this wine has a nose of brioche, quince, baked green apple, biscuit, blossom and hints of caramel.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied champagne is medium-plus in acidity with medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose.
The wine is smooth and buttery in texture and completes with a medium-plus-length, lemon-citrus-infused, medium finish.
There is midpalate complexity and balance between the fruit and acid structure.
A champagne to repeat.
