Tasting Note: An elegant, 2008 vintage, Grand Cru Champagne that combines delicate green fruit with the yeasty notes that make this sparkling wine so great.

Pale-intensity lemon in color with small persistent bubbles, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity nose of quince, bruised-green apple slice, barely-ripened nectarine, lemon zest, brioche, blossom and fresh bread dough.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Champagne delivers delicious, yeasty notes with medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity.

There is an abundance of midpalate complexity.

The autolytic character well-compliments the fruit completing with a medium-plus finish.

An impressive expression of the vintage.
