Tasting Note: A chardonnay-based, Grand Cru Champagne that is filled with angularity and precision.

Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity nose of brioche, golden apple, green pear, biscuit and blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Champagne has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a lemon-citrus-infused, medium-plus finish.

The complex midpalate combines green-fruit and a yeasty character in nearly equal balance.

A fine Champagne with racy acidity that acid lovers will adore, and so did my husband on his birthday today.

Bottle Note: Chardonnay. Disgorged: 03/2018. Vintage 2008. Dosage 6.5 g/L.
