Quinta do Ameal, Ameal Loureiro 2019, Vinho Verde, Portugal
Tasting Note: Vinho verde with body and complexity while at the same remaining bright.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of lemon-citrus peel, quince, green pear, tangerine, pineapple and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied vinho verde has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a citrus-infused, medium-plus finish.
The midpalate sings with orchard fruit.
Beautiful enough to enjoy by the glass or pair with white meat or salty snacks.
Bottle Note: Ameal is a historic property with records that date back to 1710, located in the Vinho Verde wine region, in the Lima sub-region, the birthplace of the Loureiro grape variety. This wine displays this varietal’s capacity to produce wines with great quality and aging potential. A vibrant and intense wine.
