Stellina, Old Vine Zinfandel 2012, Lodi, California

Tasting Note: Purple in color, this old vine zinfandel has a nose of black plum, raspberry and some raisin.

On the palate the wine is soft in texture with medium-plus tannin and medium body.

Bottle Note: Stellina, “Little Star,” is from the Colarossi Family Vineyard in Lodi where the warm summer days and cool evening delta breeze create the ideal grape growing climate. Our vines are head-trained and deficit irrigated to preserve the flavors of the fruit, and the wine is handcrafted with great attention to detail. Only 200 cases produced.
