Swick Wines, Pinot Noir 2018, Willamette Valley, Oregon
Tasting Note: A pinot with red-and-black fruit swagger and concentration.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry, fig, raspberry puree, strawberry jam, red plum, blossom and bramble.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied pinot noir has medium-intensity, red-and-black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and slightly-grippy, medium tannin with a red-cherry-infused, medium-plus finish.
There is midpalate complexity and body – no push-over pinot noir.
