Vignoble des Augustins, Rosé Brut, Touraine, Loire, France
Tasting Note: A polite, easy-going rosé sparkling wine from the Loire.
Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of strawberry, red cherry, blossom and starfruit.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied sparkling rosé has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium finish.
The wine is mostly-straightforward in taste profile and is good in quality, but lacking in complexity to be very good.
Bottle Note: 46% Cabernet Franc, 40% Gamay, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Grolleau. Family estate, since four generations, we work our vines planted on clay-limestone and silicious with a sustainable farming. We look for authenticity and personality of the Touraine appellation.
