Tasting Note: You’ll think you’re tasting a fine French crémant with this blanc de blancs which pleasantly exceeds any preconceived notions you may have about New Jersey wine.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of brioche, green pear, quince, dried blossom, caramel and toasted almond.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied blanc de blancs has medium-intensity, autolytic flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium-plus finish.

There is midpalate complexity along with bread dough.

And this sparkling wine is served at the New Jersey governor’s house too.

Yum.
