Slow Wine New York 2022

After a 2021 hiatus due to Covid, the Slow Wine Tour returned to New York this year with a tasting at Eataly Downtown following its 2020 wine tour.

This wine tour recognizes wineries that reflect local terroir and practice environmentally-sustainable methods.

Most of the wines are from Italy, but there were also sustainable wines from Oregon, California and Long Island.

One of my favorites, Troon Vineyards, poured their Kubli Bench Amber, which is the best orange wine I’ve ever tasted.

I tasted lots of Barbera d’Asti and white blends which I adore.

In addition to the trade/media tasting they also host a public tasting portion that you can buy tickets for in case you’re interested in being a part of this experience next year.
