Sonoma-Cutrer, Rosé of Pinot Noir 2018, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California
Tasting Note: A good-value rosé of pinot noir from Russian River Valley.
Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has a nose of strawberry, apricot, blossom and apricot stone fruit.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied rosé delivers medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium finish.
Bottle Note: The Russian River Valley is known for growing spectacular pinot noir and the fruit we harvested for this rosé is no exception. Grapes were lightly whole-cluster pressed and allowed to cool ferment in tank. Our gentle approach in crafting this wine allows us to capture the beautiful color while creating an elegantly structure wine that delivers vibrant fruit balanced with our signature bright acidity. This is the perfect summertime wine for pairing or sipping on its own.
