Terres Blondes, Gamay 2019, Loire, France
Tasting Note: A good Loire-appellation gamay with a nice blend of warmer vintage and cooler vintage elements.
Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, pronounced-intensity nose of dried-crushed violet blossom, black raspberry, cassis, hibiscus, forest floor and dried mushroom.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied gamay has medium-plus-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin ultimately completing with a medium-plus finish.
Notes of complexity peak through the wine with flattering floral undertones.
